Devlog 3 -
Hello again!
This week, we made some exciting progress! Here’s what’s new:
1. Inventory System: The inventory is now up and running. Players can pick up items, manage their gear, and navigate their inventory smoothly. It’s functional and intuitive, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
2. Save & Load Mechanism: Players can now save their progress and load it back at any point. This addition ensures that their achievements and resources are preserved, making it easier to pick up where they left off.
3. Enemy Spawn System: We've integrated enemy spawning! Enemies now appear at specific points, adding a challenging element to the gameplay. This brings a new layer of strategy and keeps players on their toes.
4. Hitbox and Hurbox: We’ve added a hitbox to the player and a hurtbox to the enemies, so now they can collide, allowing for future interactions.
We’ve also temporarily added a loading screen from the game "Dark Souls," which will be replaced soon. :)
